Soda loves cold weather

We had a great trip up to the land of Lincoln. As soon as we arrived in B-N (Bloomington-Normal) we all went for a walk in the park. That would be 3 dogs and 5 people. After the most delicious Thanksgiving feast, we took another walk in 18 degree weather. Soda loved it, me not so much.
Friday we had dinner with my parents. It was nice to see them. Saturday was a day of eating and relaxing. There was a nap and awesome Arabic food. I learned that zackie (not sure of the spelling) means tastes good.
Soda was happy at the Taha household. She managed to get a lot of table scraps and lots of loving.
It is a good thing the trip went well...Mostly because we will be doing it all over again in a month...Merry Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving

Last night my Mommy pulled the suitcase out from the closet. My eyes got big and I was worried. I wondered where she was going as she piled sweaters and scarves in. Then the best thing ever happened. She started packing my suitcase with treats and chew toys. Woofie yay yay!
I found out we are going to Normal, Illinois. Normal...anything but. We are driving up to Illinois to visit both of the fams. I hear there is a dalmation mix with bionic knees. Yezin promised at least 3 walks a day and a doggie park. I am soooo excited. I hope everyone has an awesome Thanksgivng, everyone has safe travels and don't forget to give your pooch some turkey.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Soda

Good times, great friends

Who is this crazy Siberian woman? Is it an accessory or a Fraggle? This is Brooke with a scarf on her head; scarf courtesy of O-luv. I had a great time hanging out with the crew of Brooke, Jeff, Olivia, Matt and Yezin. Glad we all got together!

So by request from friends, I will start my own blog. Since I am not newly married, nor have I been in a foreign country for an adventure for years, or had a baby with one on the way, I will mostly have information and pictures of my fur-kid Soda. Small articles of interest in other areas of my life, but mostly the large eared, furry, talkative bacon loving canine that blesses my life.

Happy Soda

This was the jolliest day for the pup, EVER!
